Bride: Elsa Negash
Groom: Tesfalem Gebre
Location: Sacramento, CA
Wedding Date: 5/23/15 & 5/24/15
Number of Guests: 550
Culture Represented: Eritrean

Description or Theme of wedding: Sweet and romantic with an infusion of Eritrean culture.
The most memorable part of your wedding: Coming into our reception. It has always been my favorite part of Eritrean weddings.
Did you do anything unique, crazy or fun: We kept everything pretty traditional.
What was the most difficult part about planning your wedding: I fired my florist 33 days before our wedding! She said that she was not going to be able to show me the final table setting before the wedding, and gave me every excuse in the world about why. I had the worst feeling about it and had to let her go. It was the best decision, because the florist I ended up getting was amazing.
What was the easiest part about planning your wedding: Easiest part of planning was hands down my dress. I bought the third dress I tried on!
Any words of wisdom to the couple planning their wedding: Prioritize what your negotiable and non-negotiable things are. Between having a budget to stick to, and a very traditional family to please, there are going to be things that you have to leave out. Decide what things you are willing to negotiate on and be okay with that.
